Installing the Base+ is child's play and takes less than 5 minutes. All you need is the included installation tool and the easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions.

How to install your Base+:

Disconnect the shower hose from the faucet.
Connect the Base+ to the fitting, paying attention to the sealing rings.
Attach the shower hose to the Base+.
Use the included installation tool to securely fix the screw connection.

Your salt shower is now installed and ready for you to use.

How to start your salt shower:

Open the Base+ using the screw cap on the side.
Insert a Stick+ and close the Base+ again.
Activate the water flow of your shower.
Pull and turn the switch to start your salt shower. Once you turn the water off, the switch will automatically close again.

As soon as you activate your salt shower, the Stick+ dissolves completely within about 3 minutes and enriches your shower water with soothing sea salt.

For best results, we recommend a water temperature of 37 °C and a shower time of about three minutes - the exact duration may vary depending on water pressure and temperature.

How long can I shower with a Stick+?

With a Stick+ you shower for around two to three minutes at a recommended water temperature of 37 °C. The individual salt stick is therefore designed for one shower. The length of the shower can vary depending on the line pressure, shower head and temperature.

Can I install the Base+ in any shower?

The Base+ was deliberately designed to accommodate almost all installation situations in conventional showers. Only concealed fittings that do not have a G ½" outlet on the tile surface are not compatible with shower+ products. Can I install the Base+ myself or do I need help from a plumbing professional?

Does the Base+ also work without a Stick+ inserted?

You can shower as usual without Stick+. Your shower routine is important to us! One of the priorities when developing the Base+ was not to change the usual function of your shower.

Is the effectiveness of the salt shower scientifically proven?

Yes, in an indicative product evaluation study by the Institute for Experimental Psychophysiology (IXP) GmbH in Düsseldorf, the improvement in skin appearance and well-being in atopic dermatitis was investigated through the use of shower+ products. Test subjects tested our products over a longer period of time. The participants in the study suffered from acute atopic dermatitis and used the salt shower over a longer period of time. For comparison, a control group followed their usual shower routine without using our products. After each shower, the participants assessed the severity of their symptoms and their physical well-being and documented changes in their symptoms. The results of the measurements consistently showed an improvement.

Since the salt shower has a much lower salt content than, for example, a classic salt bath, it is also milder and gentler on the skin. Of course, we recommend testing it carefully on open skin areas the first time. But so far, customer feedback has been consistently positive.

Ende Juli hat sich ein noch nie dagewesener Neurodermitis-Schub an meinem Unterarmen entwickelt. Da ich bereits in der Vergangenheit festgestellt habe, dass Salzwasser meiner Neurodermitis sehr gut getan hat und ich auf Cortisonsalben verzichten möchte, habe ich Shower+ bestellt.
