INDICATIVE EVALUATION STUDY

In an indicative product evaluation study by the Institute for Experimental Psychophysiology (IXP) GmbH in Düsseldorf, the positive effects of the shower+ salt shower on skin condition and overall well-being in people with atopic dermatitis were examined.

Participants tested our products over a longer period of time. The study subjects had acute atopic dermatitis and used the salt shower regularly for several weeks. A control group followed their normal shower routine without our products for comparison. After every shower, participants rated the severity of their symptoms and their overall physical well-being, while also documenting any changes they observed in their symptoms.

The measurement results consistently showed an improvement.

WELL-BEING OVER TIME: POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT IN THE EXPERIMENTAL GROUP

The chart illustrates how physical well-being developed in the experimental group across ten applications. Perceived recovery improved particularly well, rising by 53% after the 8th application. Overall physical well-being also showed a clear positive trend throughout the study period.

SYMPTOM SEVERITY OVER TIME

The evaluation shows how key skin symptoms improved during the application period. In the experimental group, the overall symptom severity decreased by 34%. Participants also reported a better skin feel, less itching, and visible improvements in specific areas.

SYMPTOM PROGRESSION IN THE EXPERIMENTAL GROUP

The figure shows the individual progress of selected participants from the experimental group. Different skin symptoms, including redness, dryness, itching, tightness, and pain, were documented at multiple time points throughout the application. The accompanying skin photos clearly demonstrate how the skin’s condition can improve individually with regular use of the salt shower.

RESULTS AFTER 10 APPLICATIONS

The figure shows the percentage change in the main target parameters after ten product applications compared to the baseline. In the experimental group, there was a reduction in symptom severity as well as an improvement in physical well-being and dermatological quality of life. In comparison, the changes in the control group were significantly weaker.

Recommended for anyone with skin problems!

"The salt shower is very pleasant on the skin and leaves you feeling relaxed even after showering. [...] The redness and itching have gone down. Overall, I was very happy with the product. I was impressed not only by its calming effect on the skin, but also by how easy it is to use, which is why I would recommend it to anyone who is struggling with skin problems and wants a straightforward skin care routine."

Irritated scalp noticeably soothed!

"After the first few applications, we noticed a positive effect on skin and hair. The skin feels relaxed, clearer and softer and the hair looks healthier and fuller. I have a rather dry, irritated and slightly flaky scalp, which has calmed down considerably after several uses of the salt shower."
