Description

This pure natural salt is harvested from the Mediterranean coast in southern Italy. Far away from industry and big cities, the sea salt pans are located in large nature parks or nature reserves.

Seawater is channeled through a sophisticated system of canals into the partly centuries-old salt gardens. Wind and sun gradually increase the salt concentration, the salt begins to crystallize and settles on the bottom of the salt pans. The salt is then harvested using special tools.

After harvesting, the salt is simply dried and sieved into different grain sizes. It is a pure natural product, free from chemicals or additives.

Even today, the production often follows centuries-old traditions in the Mediterranean salt gardens, which are passed down from generation to generation. These refuges serve as important biotopes for many endangered bird and plant species.

Essential oils should be used with care, depending on your skin condition. For neurodermitis (atopic dermatitis), psoriasis or similar skin conditions, we recommend our pure natural salt sticks.

Even though they are called essential oils, it’s important to clarify first that they are not actually oils, but tiny droplets from the plant itself. This valuable liquid is the main component of aromatherapy.
